Jim Hannaford

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Jim has written for newspapers, magazines and websites for many years and has contributed regularly to Hook & Barrel since 2019. He has written feature stories for us on such notable personalities Toby Keith, Billy F. Gibbons, Luke Bryan, Guy Fieri, Kid Rock and Trace Adkins and has written dozens of Jamming Out! articles for Hook & Barrel.

Being outdoors brings me peace of mind and a closer (more spiritual) connection to myself and the natural world. Even when I'm at home, I ease out to my front porch or my back porch as much as possible.
