Rob spent 38 years with a large metropolitan police department in Georgia, retiring as a Lietunant in 2016. He has been a writing for the firearm's industry for over 40 years and enjoys bringing a historical perspective to his articles. While appreciating the modern pistol, Rob is an ardent revolver enthusiast and understands the practical application of the “art of the revolver.” In many articles, Rob includes ballistic testing data of many of the popular personal defense loads. When not at the range, or pounding the keyboard, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, is active in his local church, and networking with an ever expanding group of like minded shooters.
