Barnes Bullets is gearing up to drop a fresh batch of ammo options starting in early 2026. According to the vice president of marketing and business development, Andrew Sparks, the company spent the last couple years listening to hunters and shooters instead of guessing from a boardroom.
“Barnes has developed more ammunition offerings and families aligned to market demands as we continue expanding our brand globally and provide options for hunters and competitors,” he said.
Translation. They heard us. Now they are loading up to deliver.
Here’s what hunters and shooters have to look forward to in the new year.
Barnes Suppressor Series

Everybody and their cousin is running suppressors these days. Barnes is catering to the obsession with the new Suppressor Series. It’s around premium Sierra bullets and tuning the loads for peak subsonic performance.
And clean-burning powder helps cut down on gas blowback and keep semi-auto cycling smooth. It’s the kind of ammo you run when you don’t feel like coughing on a cloud of your own exhaust.
The 300 BLK 205 grain GameKing is the real headliner. It’s engineered to expand at subsonic speeds, so you’re not sending prayers downrange hoping for expansion. This one offers dependable terminal performance you can count on.
Offerings include 300 BLK 205 grain GameKing, 308 Win 205 grain GameKing, 300 BLK 220 grain MatchKing, and 147 grain 9mm JHP.
Barnes JHP Defense in 9mm
If you want simple defensive ammo that doesn’t need a long sales pitch, this is it. You get consistent 9mm rounds with 115-grain or 124-grain Sierra JHPs in 20 or 50 count boxes.
These aren’t boutique loads. They’re just dependable defensive rounds that don’t need a hype man.
Barnes Harvest Collection New Loads

The Barnes Harvest Collection made a serious splash following its 2025 release. Due to public demand, Barnes added more options for 2026, including the popular 7mm PRC.
These loads use Sierra Tipped GameKing bullets, which have a reputation for accuracy and strong on-impact performance. If you like tight groups and dropping big game without having to track them through the county, this series will scratch that itch.
New offerings include 6mm ARC 100 grain, 7mm-08 150 grain, and 7mm PRC 180 grain.
Harvest Collection Straightwall Options
Hunters in straightwall states get some love, too. Barnes added several options built around the Sierra Pro-Hunter. It’s a tough bullet that delivers deep penetration.
Available in .350 Legend 155 grain, .400 Legend 200 grain, .45-70 Govt 300 grain, .450 Bushmaster 260 grain.
Barnes VOR-TX in New Chamberings
The Barnes VOR-TX line doesn’t really need an introduction. The all-copper TSX and TTSX have been stacking animals for years.
New for 2026, you’ll see a .400 Legend TSX option, which is one of the first all-copper straightwall loads to ever hit shelves.
VOR-TX options in 7mm PRC 170 grain TTSX, .400 Legend 190 grain TSX, and 6mm ARC 90 grain TAC-TX will be available early next year.
Precision Match in 6mm ARC
This is the long-range crowd pleaser. The newest addition is a 6mm ARC 105-grain Match Burner, built to ring steel far beyond the ranges your hunting buddies claim to shoot deer.
Reloading Components
Barnes is sending handloaders some new toys, too. Here’s what we have to look forward to.
LRX
These bullets are designed to open up at extended distances. You’ll see new .22 caliber, .25 caliber, and 7mm offerings.
TAC-TX
Tuned for AR platforms with shorter barrels, TAC-TX bullets feature a larger tip to keep expansion reliable at lower velocities. New for 2026: .22 caliber 70 grain (optimized for .22 ARC 1:7) and 6mm 90 grain (optimized for 6mm ARC 1:7.5).
TSX
One new addition in these deadly, dependable all-copper hunting line-up. A .40 caliber 190 grain bullet optimized for 400 Legend.
