What the outdoors mean to Tom:
My life has been defined by the outdoors. My father took me hunting and fishing at an early age, and those experiences guided me into my current career as a writer. If you write about something you love, it doesn't feel like work. My passion to be in the woods has kept me on a good path in life, and I cherish the opportunity to pass it on to my kids.
