These suppressors have been built from the ground up, optimized for Ruger firearm platforms

A new collaboration between two giants in the firearm industry has yielded some quietly outstanding products; Dead Air, a top-tier suppressor manufacturer, and Ruger, one of the nation’s most storied gunmakers, have teamed up to offer a new class of suppressors: the RXD Series.

Make no mistake, this isn’t just a couple of company logos slapped on an existing can; the new RXD suppressors have been built from the ground up specifically to complement Ruger’s most popular firearm platforms for best-in-class performance.

RXD22Ti Smallbore Suppressor

RXD22Ti SPECS

First up is the RXD22Ti suppressor, which is built for Ruger’s most popular rimfire and smaller caliber offerings. It’s compatible with .22 LR, .22 WSM, 17 HMR, 4.6mm, and 5.7x28mm firearms. Using Dead Air’s Triskelion single-piece, PVD-coated mono-core, this can is made using “additive manufacturing” for greater strength in a suppressor that weighs less than competitors and is extremely simple to maintain.

There’s a lot going on in this small package for small calibers. The internal geometry of the suppressor is designed to allow for optimal sound suppression using as little internal space as possible. Combined with Dead Air’s Gas Management System that reduces backpressure and ejection port noise, the RXD22Ti has all the makings for an exceptional small-caliber suppressor.

The can mounts to the brand new XRF rimfire muzzle brake, which is tapered and compatible with a variety of firearm platforms with an ultra-secure lockup. But that’s not all the brake does — it’s designed to help capture lead fouling before it enters the core of the suppressor to make cleaning easier.

And Dead Air and Ruger made sure it’s as easy as possible to swap the brake and can to different firearms — everything is made to work with non-proprietary tools for removal, installation, and disassembly.

It doesn’t matter if you want to use the RXD22Ti on a Ruger 10/22 rifle or a Mark IV pistol; there is no barrel length restriction. The suppressor has a muzzle energy rating of 850 foot-pounds and is also rated for full-auto fire with .22LR. It’s available with a black or Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish.

RDX30Ti 30-Caliber Suppressor

RDX30Ti 30-Caliber Suppressor

While the RXD22Ti takes care of the smallbores, the all-new RDX30Ti is built for big-game hunting and long-range precision shooting, and the hardest-hitting .30-caliber rounds that hunters and target shooters rely on.

This can also use Dead Air’s Triskelion construction along with its Nomad baffle technology that works together to deliver recoil mitigation and sound suppression. It also features an integrated E-Brake feature that Dead Air and Ruger say reduces felt recoil by up to 40% compared to shooting with a bare muzzle — that’s pretty significant.

The RXD font cap works to reduce muzzle flash, and its new Direct Thread Brake Mount minimizes blast baffle erosion. This suppressor is compatible with all HUB (.1375-24 TPI) accessories, so it can be easily paired with a variety of firearm platforms by direct-thread or QD.

This big-game and precision shooting suppressor is rated for 6.5 PRC and 7 PRC on up to .300 PRC. It comes in the same black and Burnt Bronze Cerakote finishes as the smallbore model.
