Building on the proven Nomad Ti XC lineage, the new Dead Air Nomad Ti OTB (Over The Barrel) variant introduces a boundary-pushing over-the-barrel design that minimizes overall length when attached to the firearm, enhances balance, maximizes recoil reduction, and delivers uncompromising sound suppression — all while maintaining the ultralight performance the American hunter relies on.
The Nomad Ti OTB is a solution-driven variant of the company’s popular Nomad series of hunting-grade suppressors that takes on-the-move field performance to a new level.
This suppressor is specifically designed for hunters, precision shooters, and professionals who demand extreme performance from their rifles without compromise.
Dead Air Nomad Ti OTB Key Features

Rated for cartridge calibers up to .300 RUM and 7mm Backcountry, the new Nomad Ti OTB derives its name from its ingenious over-the-barrel configuration.
Rather than positioning the blast chamber fully forward of the muzzle, as with conventional suppressor designs, the Nomad Ti OTB expands the blast chamber over the barrel which results in less backpressure and better sound suppression.
There are a couple of key advantages to this expanded blast chamber.
First, this configuration means that the suppressor adds only 4.6 inches to the overall length of the rifle assembly (will work with rifle barrels up to 1 inch in diameter). Reduced length translates to improved rifle maneuverability in tight quarters and in conditions with limited range of motion.
Second, shifting the weight bias back toward the shooter improves rifle balance and reduces fatigue when making offhand shots or when mounted to the gun during long field positions.

The Nomad Ti OTB’s Lightweight Construction
By extending the blast chamber rearward over the barrel, the Nomad Ti OTB creates a suppressed rifle that points easier and only takes on an extra 10.5 ounces with the suppressor attached. And that weight is mostly wrapped around the barrel for better balance.
The Nomad Ti OTB is built through an additive manufacturing process (3D printing) using 6Al4V Grade 9 Titanium, which accounts for the unit’s superior strength, light weight, and advanced gas management system for optimal sound suppression.
It is also machined to accept Dead Air’s Xeno Radial Brake — a muzzle device made of 17-4 stainless steel and featuring a 5/8-24 thread pattern. This makes installation onto barrels up to 1-inch in diameter simple and repeatable to reduce point-of-impact shifts.

Overall, the Nomad Ti OTB measures 7.65 x 1.76 inches, making it super compact and lightweight at only 10.5 oz. It features a muzzle energy rating of 4400+ ft/lbs and is offered in black or FDE high-temp Cerakote finish. MSRP is $1,049.
If you are looking for a hunting rifle suppressor yet balk at the notion of increasing your rifle’s length and weight, the new Nomad Ti OTB is the suppressor you’ve been waiting for.
