Nino Bosaz

Nino Bosaz is Editorial Director at Hook & Barrel Magazine, overseeing the bi-monthly print publication and the Insider editorial program at hookandbarrel.com. A lifelong hunter who grew up chasing whitetails in upstate New York, he has been writing and editing in the outdoor, shooting, and firearms space since 1995. He spent more than two decades at Harris Publications as editorial director across titles including Combat Handguns, Tactical Life, Ballistic Magazine, Whitetail Strategies, and Waterfowl Hunter, among others. He co-founded two self-reliance publications — The New Pioneer and American Frontiersman — and led editorial and catalog production at Eders, Inc., one of the earliest online outdoor e-zine and retail platforms. A staunch Second Amendment advocate, Nino currently represents Neighbors Gun Club at the Federation of Dutchess County Fish and Game Clubs, established in 1932 to support the outdoor sporting community across New York State.
